Cold Rolling Mills
The
process applied in cold rolling mill produces steel in high strained
condition with very little ductility. The produced steel is considered
to be "full hard". Cold-rolled steel products begin as hot rolled
pickled and oiled coils. These are "cold-reduced" by passing them
through a cold reduction process on a reversing mill under high tension
and pressure.
